Slovakia - D1, Košice

A new bypass is currently under construction on the D1 motorway around Košice, Slovakia’s second-largest city with over 240,000 residents. This vital project will divert transit traffic away from the city, improving traffic flow and reducing journey times. On this new bypass, more than 20 km of DELTABLOC® concrete safety barriers are being installed – DB 100S with H3 performance class on the verge and DB 120S with H4b performance class on the central reserve.
