The DELTABLOC® DB 185AS-A precast concrete barrier delivers exceptional protection for critical road infrastructure such as bridge piers or gantry bases and compliments the very high containment level portfolio. Engineered for maximum safety, it achieves the performance classes H4a and H4b, and an outstanding vehicle intrusion level VI1. This system is fully crash tested in accordance with EN 1317. With a height of 1.85 m and a compact width of just 0.57 cm, the barrier requires only an 0.60 m footprint, optimizing space without compromising stability. The anchored barrier has a 4 m element length and convinces with its installation flexibility on either an in-situ foundation or for even faster setups on a precast concrete foundation.
Advantages of the DB 185 Series
The vehicle intrusion level VI1 ensures maximum protection for bridge piers, allowing the barrier to be positioned safely close to the structure.
With the working width W1 and its slim construction the barrier requires only a minimum space for the protection of critical road infrastructure.
The DB 185AS-A convinces with its installation flexibility on either an in-situ foundation or for even faster setups on a precast concrete foundation.
The DB 185AS-A barrier is incredibly robust – no breakouts, no detached parts, no debris up to containment level H4b.
