Tanzania – Dar es Salaam

No worries (Hakuna Matata) last December at the super cool project on the Tanzanite bridge. This bridge is the new landmark of Dar es Salaam, the largest city and financial hub of Tanzania and DELTABLOC® DB 80E has been installed over a length of 1km on the central reserve of the bridge. This project is in many ways also a role model for the DELTABLOC® knowledge and expertise with which we support our local partners. DELTABLOC® staff guided the local production on site for 2 weeks in Dar es Salaam, arranged and supervised the production with our moulds, trained the local people and helped hands on wherever needed. As the first 2 barriers have been produced, the local workers started dancing and singing and overall we experienced a positive spirit throughout the whole production. After 2 weeks of local production, installation started and now the bridge is open for traffic and our barriers protect the local road users.
