Netherlands - A4, Schiphol

The international airport Schiphol close to Amsterdam is with 71 million passengers the 3rd biggest airport in Europe. The highway A4, which runs from Amsterdam to Rotterdam passes by Schiphol airport with 4 lanes in both directions. Currently a new "fly over bridge" is being built over the A4 to enable airplanes taxiing faster to the runways. And DELTABLOC® is part of this modernization project as over 1.6km (or 286 barriers) of DELTABLOC® safety barriers are installed in this section of the A4. In 5 deliveries starting from October 2020 until April 2021, 5 different DB 80 Series safety barriers - all fulfilling H2 - are being installed.
