Germany – A81, Sindelfingen

The German Federal Motorway A81 runs 283 km from Würzburg to the Swiss border — one of southern Germany’s key transport routes. Near Sindelfingen, it has been expanded to three lanes in each direction, a major step toward improving capacity and safety. As part of this upgrade, we delivered 2.5 km of DELTABLOC® DB 80E concrete safety barriers in H2 W1 performance class — engineered for high containment with minimal working width. Seamless transitioning from our concrete barriers to existing steel guardrails was safety critical and required precise technical proficiency. Our transition solutions ensured continuous protection without compromising performance.
