Czech Republic - D1, Brno

The Dálnice1 (D1) is with 376km the longest and most important highway in the Czech Republic. It starts in Prague and runs via Brno to the Polish border. As the oldest highway in the Czech Republic it needs regular modernization and currently the section close to Brno is getting a new concrete surface. DELTABLOC® is part of this modernization project. In February the installation of DB 50SL barriers took place over a length of 11.6km to protect the workzone. In June these DB 50SL barriers will be installed on the lanes in the opposite direction. Overall the installation of the DB 50SL will last until September 2021.
