A flexible and future-fit DB NBF installation on the E47 near Lyngby. The widening of the Helsingørmotorvejen (E47) near Lyngby required a concrete restraint system with an integrated noise barrier that could be seamlessly fitted into the existing motorway environment. Given the compacted gravel foundation and the limited space in the central reserve, the DB 80F NBF pile-driven variant was the preferred decision. This combined noise protection and restraint system is so space-saving that it can be positioned closer to the traffic. In total, more than 600 m of 4 m high DB 80F NBF systems and an additional 856 m of 6 m high BHB concrete core noise protection panels were installed in the central reserve and along the verge.
