Netherlands - A9, Amstelveen

As part of a major infrastructure modernisation program, an 11.4km section on the Dutch A9 between Badhoevedorp and Holendrecht is currently being upgraded. The project includes widening the motorway from three to four lanes in each direction to improve traffic capacity. We are proud that DELTABLOC® DB 80P concrete safety barriers are contributing to this landmark project. The barriers, certified to H2 W2 performance class, are being installed along the verge and inside the tunnels over a total length of 4km. One of the key advantages of the DB 80P is its exceptionally short 10cm pin insertion depth, enabling faster and easier installation while maintaining outstanding performance.
