Germany – A81, Sindelfingen

As an important north-south link in Baden-Württemberg the A81 is used by well over 100,000 vehicles a day. In order to upgrade the highway and reduce congestion it is being widened to six lanes in the area between Sindelfingen and Böblingen. PHONOBLOC® integrated noise barriers DB 100 NBF on the verge and DELTABLOC® concrete barriers DB 80P and DB 80F on the central reserve have been installed over a total length of 3.5 km.
